Inline sledge hockey was invneted in the UK in 2009. Originally the brainchild of Matt Lloyd, it is being developed by a number of groups working in partnership including the British Inline Puck Hockey Association (BIPHA) , Hull Stingrays and RGK.
Based on Inline Puck Hockey, Inline Sledge Hockey allows sledge hockey to be played in sports halls, playgrounds and roller rinks. Inline sledge hockey is being developed to be the worlds first truly inclusive sport. Inline sledge hockey is recognised by the British Roller Sport Federation and international rules are being developed by Geoff Gooding.
